I am a visual artist specializing in video collage and motion design. I build textured, immersive digital experiences designed for every scale, from interactive festival installations to massive public art displays. While my primary medium is visual, I also enjoy experimenting with original sound production to occasionally score my own work.

Power Trip

Project overview:
A 5-minute animated video collage commissioned for the West Hollywood Moving Image Media Art Program (MIMA).
Designed for massive scale, this piece will premiere on a vertical, LED billboard on THE Sunset Strip above the Rainbow & Roxy. The project blends a gritty, glitchy, rock-and-roll aesthetic with dynamic motion design to create a visceral public art experience.
Artist statement:
Electricity powers our world, our screens, and our music. Structured into two acts- Act I: Life is Beautiful and Act II: The Technofascist Collapse, Power Trip transforms the site with the same electric chaos and rebellion that turned the Rainbow and Roxy into rock and roll legends of the Sunset Strip. Pylons sway, guitars pulse, figures dance, circuits overload, and rainbows fracture into digital noise as the system reaches a breaking point. The piece draws on imagery of the tarot- from the hidden knowledge of the High Priestess to the paralysis of the Eight of Swords to the Tower’s collapse. Power Trip reflects on what happens when our collective desire for power exceeds the grid’s capacity. Even the digital billboard, glowing above the street, participates in the spectacle it critiques. When the circuit breaks, whose fault is it? It is both a celebration and a critique of the energy that binds and liberates us.
My role:
Creative direction & animation: Acted as sole director and lead animator for the 5-minute video collage, specifically formatting the composition for the massive vertical billboard.
Production management: Oversaw the project's end-to-end execution, including collaborating with a guest producer to engineer visual transitions.

Colossal Collective
Puppet build
Project overview:
From 2018-2020, I had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with the Colossal Collective in the construction of giant puppets designed for music and art festivals such as Treefort, Taos Vortex, and Burning Man. Utilizing my expertise in welding, soldering, woodworking, and general building techniques, I played a vital role in bringing these larger-than-life puppets to life. Additionally, I assisted with video animation, adding a captivating visual element to the overall immersive experience.
I took charge of animations using After Effects, tailored to be pixel mapped onto a 4,000 pixel display.

Project overview:
In 2021, I had the privilege to assist in the music video production for the Fungineers, a pop music group. I facilitated on-set filming, prop design, and photography. Inspired by the music video, I created a custom AR Instagram filter using Spark AR for the social video release for "Smash That Like."

I created a multimedia campaign for statement earrings that I hand-made. This project involved motion design, graphic design, animation, and music production.
Objectives:
Develop a visually appealing and engaging multimedia presentation that reflects elegance and sophistication.
Design and animate promotional videos showcasing the latest collection.
Create high-quality graphic designs for use in online and print marketing materials.
Produce an original music score to complement the visual elements and enhance the overall experience.
